How Eztec's Tec.IA cut the sales cycle in half

Eztec cut its brokers' average conversion cycle from 30 to 15 days with Tec.IA, an artificial intelligence platform for sales support, built on Tailor.ia technology. This case shows what happens when a developer treats team training as an ongoing process, not an event.

The context

Eztec is a reference in mid- to high-end developments. Sales run largely through Tec Vendas, the developer's in-house brokerage. In that model, the broker leads the conversation with the buyer, and the quality of that conversation depends on how well he knows the product: floor plans, differentiators, commercial terms, neighborhood.

At a developer with many projects in its portfolio, keeping every broker up to date on everything is an operational challenge. In-person training doesn't scale, nobody rereads PDF material and the information changes often. That's where Tec.IA comes in.

What was done

Eztec launched Tec.IA, an artificial intelligence platform that supports the Tec Vendas brokers in their day-to-day selling. Behind it is Tailor.ia's technology, at the time still named FFID: a generative agent for team training and enablement, delivering personalized training for each broker, continuous enablement with generative AI, performance analytics and identification of knowledge gaps. Today that product is Tailor.ia Treinamento, part of Tailor.ia Genius.

The architecture choice deserves a mention. Eztec invested in a proprietary architecture built on FFID technology, combining the best models on the market (ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude) with the developer's own business logic. Eztec's knowledge about its projects and commercial rules stays in-house.

As of the company's post on August 29, 2025, the tool already had 52% of the projects loaded.

The result

The average conversion cycle fell from 30 to 15 days: half the time. For a sales operation, that means more deals in the same period, fewer leads going cold along the way and brokers who answer with confidence instead of promising to get back later. And that result came with just over half of the projects on the platform.

What comes next

According to Tellio Totaro, Eztec's development superintendent, the next step is to bring AI to customer service as well, so brokers receive better-qualified leads. The same logic that now prepares the broker will also prepare the lead before it reaches the broker. Both sides of the conversation end up better prepared.

Lessons for other developers

  1. Training is a process, not an event. Continuous enablement with performance analytics shows where each broker needs to improve and corrects it before the customer feels it.
  2. Start before you're complete. Eztec got results with 52% of projects loaded. Waiting for the perfect dataset delays the gain.
  3. Keep the business logic under your control. Using several market models is fine; leaving your company's knowledge locked into a single vendor is not.
  4. Measure the sales cycle. It's the metric that shows whether the broker is better prepared. Without the 30-day baseline, there would be no way to prove the 15.

What's your operation's average conversion cycle today, and how much of it is brokers' time spent hunting for information?

If you want to see where continuous AI training could shorten that cycle at your developer, Tailor.ia's diagnostic is the way to start.
